Ticks & Mosquitoes

Everyone is on board!
I watch new companies every day adding Tick & Mosquito services to their offerings.
This is a great thing. Children should not have to be captive in their house, or burdened with long sleeves in
hot weather. Please everyone, I would love to take care of your property, but be it me, or another company,
make your yard safe for the little ones, and pets!

I am still treating your properties, even during these unique times!
Ticks, and the disease they carry, are to me, more insidious than anything out there.
Right now, you are going to be spending more time in your yard than ever before.
I will be there. We will kill, and keep those insects off your yards, off your play areas,
and make it as safe as possible for you to be out enjoying your space.
Be safe all, and we will do what we can to make it safe for you.

Male Ticks In The Fall
Posted 9/10/2018 at 4:31:23 PM
Its getting cooler out. What that means for us, is a final Tick & Mosquito treatment.
Adult male ticks are most active in the fall. Anyone with outdoor cats and dogs can attest to that.
Our goal is to make our clients yards as safe as they can be,
so that they can still continue to enjoy their out door space, regardless of the time of year!
Organics, and traditional, going on NOW!

Crabgrass, when do you treat?
Posted 4/19/2018 at 10:18:41 AM
Crab grass is best treated in the spring. I get calls right now every year from new clients,
"my neighbor just got treated, when will you be treating?" Crabgrass is treated when the soil temperatures get to about 50 degrees, for four or more consecutive days.
When you are a company that treats 2000 lawns, you put it down whenever you get a break in the weather.
When you are Paradise Grounds, you do it when it is the proper time to do it.
I watched a competitor put down pre-emergent in the snow yesterday...................

Ticks in Spring

Cannot believe we were getting calls for Ticks already on dogs and cats in March!
Thankfully, the last couple of rounds of snow gave people a little reprieve.
Syracuse and Central New York has a tick issue.
We are here to help folks, give us a call if you are at all concerned. It makes a difference!
Think spring!
